Your personal details are confidential and are never disclosed to anyone else and are deleted 20 days from the date of posting your order back to you.
Copyright
Copyright law allows digital backups to be made from analogue recordings on cassettes, but you must own the cassettes and the CDs or MP3s made must only be for your own personal use. Cassette Converters holds no responsibility if you do not adhere to these conditions or are charged with breaking copyright law for any other reason.
Payment
Cassette Converters accepts payment in a secure environment through PayPal, using the following cards - Visa, Delta, Electron, Mastercard, American Express, Switch, Maestro and Solo. For orders not made online, payment is taken by telephone, unless you provide an email address. Your cassettes will only be converted once payment has been received.
Damage during Conversion
Cassette Converters holds no responsibility for cassettes breaking during conversion to digital format, but should this happen, you will be refunded for non-conversion of the cassette.
Damage / Loss in Post
Cassette Converters holds no responsibility for cassettes damaged or lost in the post when sent to us and also when returned to you. You must inform Cassette Converters within 7 days of the date of posting if you have not received your order or any CDs/MP3s are damaged, so that we can claim compensation from the Post Office and redo any CDs/MP3s for you free of charge.
Backups
All digital audio files associated with your order are kept by Cassette Converters for 20 days from the date of posting your order back to you, after which they are permanently deleted, so it is vital that you inform us if any CDs/MP3s have been damaged or lost in the post so they can be redone from our backup files.
Quality of CDs/MP3s
The sound quality of CDs/MP3s will be the same as on the cassettes. All CDs/MP3s are checked prior to posting, but Cassette Converters holds no responsibility if you are not satisfied with the quality of the recordings.
